It was my birthday last Thursday, and instead of wallowing in self-pity that I’ve now hit my Upper Thirties, I wanted to share a running list of the items or discounts that have been offered to me this week/month. I know there are much larger lists of available freebies on the internet, but so many of those don’t seem to have any significance to my life. Here’s what’s come my way via app or email:

Month-long deals:

DXL: 15% off a $50+ order.

Red Lobster: Choose 1 for free – a Petite Lobster and Shrimp Roll, a Lobster and Langostino Pizza, or a Choice of Dessert. Offer arrived 7 days before birthday, good until 1 month after it arrived in my inbox.

Birthday week:

I assume that all of these require that you have downloaded and used the restaurant app.

BurgerFI: Free shake

Chili’s: Free dessert item. Good for 1 week before until 1 week after my birthday. I had the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie!

Famous Dave’s: Free dessert (maximum $8 value). Good for 14 days (arrived 6 days before birthday).

Steak ‘n Shake: Free Double ‘n Cheese ‘n Fries was loaded to my Rewards Club account 1 week before my birthday.

Subway: Free cookie with any purchase. I had the chocolate chip cookie today with my lunch.

A local dive bar also offers a $20 bar tab on the week of your birthday. Unfortunately, I decided to do Dry January right as I realized this was expiring! 😊

On my birthday:

AMC – Since I have the AMC Stubs Premiere membership, I would have received a Free Large Drink and a Free Large Popcorn on my birthday. Missed out, though!

Starbucks – free food or drink item of my choice. Missed this one, because I was stuck in my teeny-tiny hometown with no Starbucks. Oh well!

What are some other Birthday Freebies that you know of and enjoy? Thanks for participating a tiny bit in my birthday celebration!

  1. The only one I use every year is the Starbucks free drink. It’s my one PSL a year 🙂
I signed up years ago for all sorts of programs for free birthday treats but not too many are available near where I live now, and the effort to get the free stuff is more than the desire for the item.
    Happy Birthday!!
